->What the hell are you talking about? Nearly all of Q-Bert's scratching ->was REMOVED from the 'Instrumentalyst' versions, along with Keith's vocals, ->and replaced with flute solos and so forth. The 'Instrumentalyst' album ->might as well be an Automator solo release. after listening to the original DR OCTAGON release, _intrumentalyst_ caused me to cry out with joy. it was as if someone had finally told keith to s h u t - u p and he listened. i cannot agree that "nearly all of q-bert's scratching was removed". keep in mind that _intrumentalyst_ has a slightly different track list. there are the same number of tracks with scratches, minus the remixes . . . that are only on the original release. in addition, the extended version of _bear_witness_ may not have the same scratching complexity but the turntable skills q-bert displays prove his 6th sense. q-bert still gets good representation on _intrumentalyst_ and it is more noticeable without the droning lyrical disfunction of kool keith. michael j. pickering washington state university six41@scientist.com _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ __/ /_/ f / /\ / /_ _ _/_ _ _ o / / \ / __ s /\ / r / o / / / /_/ i / \__/ t / n / / /_ _ _ _x_/ / /_y_/_e_/ / \ \ / \ \ \ / \_ _ _ _ _\/ \_ _\_ _\/ if.animals...believed.in god...the..devil...would look.like.a.human..being
