i can also heartily reccomend the 'Chessie' LP on dropbeat,
excellent stuff... strange polyrhythms and scratchy 'live'
breakbeats, colliding challenging rhythms everywhere,
excellent live instrumentation, lush dub, and some warm
isolationism.....a very raw live feel. and all done by one
guy somewhere in Ca. ( i think hes in Ca....)
that review makes it sound like hundreds of other
releases... but it really does have that something
special.
