I doubt that this is what you're referring to (it doesn't have a "chinese"
(you mean filipino, right?) DJ on the sleeve) but Mixmaster Mike did put
out a 12" of breaks on the Dirt Style label, called "Unidentifried Funk
Octopus Presents Eardrum Medicine". It's got a spooky octopus on the cover
w/ graffiti script, no obvious references to MMM at all on the sleeve.
Even if this isn't what you were talking about, it's good. All sorts of
classic hip-hop breaks and fucked-up samples for you to toy with. Although
it is cut-up in places, it's more of a DJ tool than an actual musical work
(it holds together well, despite that). Dirt Style is one of the best
breaks labels, check out "Bionic Booger Breaks" and "Toasted Marshmellow
Feet Breaks" as well. Q-bert and MMM are infamous for dropping Dirt Style
breaks liberally when laying waste to the competion.
