Are mike ink's "studio 1" 12"s still available? i've got one--silver, i
think--and it's really something. for awhile i've been trying to figure
out if the "studio 1" is in some way a nod to the legendary reggae/ska/dub
studio; i can almost make a case for the tracks being like stripped-down,
minimalist thumbnail sketches of the reggae form.... but i think i might be
taking critical liberties there...
