Let's give the thing its name : Martian Arts, out on Instinct dated 1997 and available here (in South Arica) since July. Is this the "new" one you are referring to? (I thought we were miles behind everybody else out here !) Yes, it is just as described above - irritatingly 'novel' packaging in a normal plastic transparent jewel-case, with this wrap-around slip over cardboard cover that goes around the middle of the CD case and needs to be removed before taking out the disc. This will, no doubt, be very unenduring before looking tatty, worn and scuffed. Pity about that. Especially since it's got the tracklisting printed on the back of this slip-on cover. Ah well, marginally better than a digi-pak [sigh]. Personally, I like that shimmery shiny prism-y stuff on the CD itself. Why not :-) I * "Incomplete without surface noise" - Autechre
