For lovers of groovy intelligent house (for lack of a better description)
I must reccommend this lovely new 12": Paul Hester's "The Voyage." It's on
Heard Records, a new label, err... sorta. Actually, it's Universal
Language hiding behind a new logo in attempts to attract new house DJs.
Most DJs are afraid to spin the older UL house releases (Secret
Ingredients, etc.) so Heard has been set up for the more DJ-friendly
output of UL. And blimey! Paul Hester's debut on Heard is a barnstormer of
heavy bass plunging through layers of blissfully chilled ambience.
Yummy!
