I couldn't agree with you more. Mike Paradinas' sound, approach and attack is completely different from the "lords of IDM list" Richard James and Tom Jenkinson. While Squarepusher rips out the drums as fast as can and Aphex Twin prances around like jester, spitting on the face of fans (while they beg for more), Mu-ziq releases seem to be just straight up good ol' electronic listening music. His work doesn't seem to need the extremes that other like minded artists constantly turn to, but refers more to his abilities of creating his very stylized signature melodies and harmonies. Don't get me wrong though. I still eat the shit up with a fork whenever James or Jenkinson have a new release. I mean how could a thousand worshipers be wrong? t.S.o.G.
