Ok, here's a sincere review / opinion of the new Squarepusher... I like it, for more reason than simply its Tom J... but, something I've noticed recently is that as one progresses back through his catalog of releases, I seem to like past releases much more. Alot of Big Loada just doesn't deviate all that much in style from the last few releases. Personally, I wish that the material had all gone way of say Bubble and Squeak ... the manic insanity which is Big Loada is fine once, twice, three times and well, you know how the saying goes... don't take me wrong, I'm loving it and so very happy that it finially arrived, but I'm wishing that I'd played that Jega 12" that arrived with it first (ok... off to the other room to give that a listen!) Of course, only after I listen to track three of Big Loada again =) The Tom J which I appreciate most lives on!
