Hello, Since we're all discussing those record players anyways, I've got a question one of you might (hopefully) be able to answer... What needle should I get? here's the problem, my record player works fine for 99% of my collection, but on somethings (for instance: Si Begg's "In Is In" and Like A Tim's remix of Cylob's "Diof97") it skips like crazy. It's not the records fault as when I go back to the store the record plays fine on their player. So I'm going to get a needle and have no clue what to look for... (as far as frequency response, tracking force, etc.) If it helps, my player is a Technics SL-J3, with a P-mount connector. (The arm however is connected to the lid as opposed to being a seperate arm...) (Was at RadioShack and they suggested a RXP3, with a 15Hz - 27 kHz Freq response, 1.25 gram tracking force, 29dB at 1 kHz channel seperation, and a Biradial (elliptical) stylus for $30. Would this solve my problem?) thanks. --- Peace Hugs and Unity Jason J. Tar W. W. J. D? (What would Jason Do?) http://pilot.msu.edu/user/tarjason
