more power to you bro'. my computers been down for four days and I fixed it only to find 200 some odd messages waiting for me from the IDM list. About 80% of them were about the chemical brothers and the prodigy. My feeling is; shit, if you don't like 'em fuck 'em, but goin' on and on about it is just toooo boring. Hey, anyhow I fuckin' loved some of the trax on their first album (prodigy). I can remember back in the day ravin' it hard to "Charly". You know what else? If the prodigy suck then I guess that means that so do Altern8 and T99. BAck in the day they pretty much all sounded the same. The prodigy's new album in my opinion sucks. I think however that they deserve to be rich as fuck. Liam in my opinion is a great "techno" artist and some of the beats he makes are friggin' fat (Fuck the lyrics, and listen to the beats!) As for the chemical brothers; well, they pretty much stick to their own genre of music whatever it's called. Some kinda hip trip hop rock funk acid shit or whatever you want to call it. I don't really go for much of that either. One thing you can say for them is that they have pretty much stayed true to the game. No sell-out and all that. And by the way, selling out doesn't mean making a lot of money. If you want to go that route just ask Aphex who had enough loot to buy his very own tank... Also, (to continue) if any of you all remember the west coast LA-San Francisco scene back in around '94 then you will recall that there was a whole knew trend starting of breakbeat/old school music. Everyone was lovin' it and the sounds of the Chemical Brothers (then the Dust Brothers) were leading the pack. Years later (musical years) they still more or less sound the same. So whattya got ta say to that? Precise
