It's pretty good; huge and organic, sometimes even a little choral and orchestral sounding. I'd forgotten about a lot of ambient music for the last little while and substrata's melodic ramblings have made me dig out stuff I haven't listened to in ages (including those Richie Hawtin/Pete Namlook albums and 'the fires of ork' which imho are all worthwhile). He could, however, have left off the bird, wind, and water noises without me personally missing them ;) I've got to admit that, with 'substrata' being largely beatless, I miss the more rhythmical tracks Geir used to do (the fairy tale remix with the cyclical speed-changing high-hat was a mind expander of days gone...).
