In reference to pigeonhead being labeled "jungle", let me assure you that they
come nowhere near that label. They have released two pleasing, but spotty
albums on Sub Pop records which veer more towards a 70's funk by way of
Dirty Mind era Prince matched with some downtempo trip-hop grooves. I believe
Steve Fisk is involved with the project also, which may pique the interest of
a select few, since he released the Express God 12" on Astralwerks. In short,
if you're looking for "jungle", avoid Pigeonhead at all costs, but if you
see it in a used bin cheap, it might wet your whistle.
