just saw dj shadow live @ other music, nyc. the gimmick they had going on
was for the audience to bring any one record with them and shadow would
mix it up. i don't know about you, but anyone who can drop my kermit the
frog "rainbow connection" 7" into the mix (he did, and didn't miss a beat)
has my respect forever. he dropped some old mantronix and other weird
shit, too, and to top it off, the mtv news crew almost got their van towed
away from out front of the store.
