Thank you for the info. I have since went to Strange records, and
Collin let me listen to a wide array of what everyone on the list likes.
Among them were Squarepusher's Feed Me Weird Things, Autechre- Garbage and
Anvil vapre, and also the "Blech" album + many more. I liked them all, but
nothing grabbed me enough to buy. I will probably go back and get some of
this stuff, particularly the "Blech" and Squarepusher albums, and also SUN
ELECTRIC's album. I will listen to "Amber" a few times more (I own that
one), and see if my opinion changed since a year ago. This music is not
something that you can judge from a one time listen in a store.
BTW, I did finally get SAW 1, and am listening to it right now. Very
good. Your posts were all accurate and informative. Thank you.
