"Not allowed to ..."?!? Sounds sarcastic to me. You can mix any beats you want in any order you want. It's not like the folks at home watching AMP are having some kind of Bean-Bag Rave where it's important to maintain a certain BPM until the exhausted crowd can't take it no more and need a Evian break. It is cool that they sometimes do a video mix in addition to the audio mix.
