I was thinking more along the lines of Bozo on crack....but the Dilbert devil boss works too. I think IDM will survive...just like there is a flourishing alternative (REAL alternative!) underground, real progressive idm will stay underground with the occasional crossover at best. Pop culture is like a big vulture...it feeds off of subcultures, or counter-cultures, stealing ideas, homogenizing them for the lowest common denominator, and churning out the "latest new thing." I like their interpretation of punk (green day) and alternative (7mary3, alanis, ad nauseam) and I am unimpressed. At least Hootie didn't sell well last year...! ::k. np::nicely-away the throttle pedal stop (union jack remix) _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ Chris Escarcega That which does not kill me only serves chrix@wic.net to make me sleep 'til 3:30 the next - voodoo snake loa afternoon. - licensed prophet
