Moby is definately not you average raver. In fact I think to
categorize him as such would be a grave injustice.
I was able to pick up his most recent CD, Animal Rights, which happened
to include a bonus disc called Little Idiot as an import. Animal Rights
contains mostly guitar driven electronic rock. Little Idiot can be best
categorized as classical style ambient--this one is good, it knocks my
ass right out to sleep.
Moby seems to be an individual driven by his own set of ideals and does
not follow any formula to success--he is going to do what he wants to,
but at the same time do a damn good job of doing it.
If you have the chance, give both discs a listen. I think the time
spent will be well worth your while.
