offer.Both tapes are officially now gone. Without a doubt there will be
other similar offers in the future.
If anyone catches Jonah Sharp's DJ set at MAD tonight could you please post
a review/opinion--he's usually the bomb spinning wicked minimal,
multi-genre tracks, I think Joe Rice and Jon Santos may have been DJing as
well--lucky if you got to go!
A few musical recomendations: Summit "Weeding The Cliff Edge" (Radar-UK)
DLP dark-edged instrumental downbeat tracks with excellent
ambient/electronic interludes, Tiny Stars D12" (Kubrick) excellent
electronic-hip hop instrumental tracks, lots of cool filtering and
effects-a dancefloor killer! Solar Plexus "Ghost" 12" (2 Kool)
ambient-mellow DnB with live elements that blur genre walls, the new Lo
compilation (forgot the name) extremely fukin' great multi-artist
collaborative project (Ui meets Luke Vibert etc...) not a bad track on
here, even thurston "Sonic Youth" Moore chips in, maybe someone else could
provide a track listing...
Two notes regarding Headz 2 pt. B:
1st--Dillinja's "In The Mood" track is now also available as a 12" (better
sound quality) and it features some wicked fukin' programing, Dillinja is a
constant inovator in DnB and anyone into electronica should check his stuff
out.
2nd--did anyone catch the sample from Aphex's 2nd Ambient Works on Source
Direct's contribution "The Mute Witness"?
