Just thought i would put in a mention on Roupe, I only have one album
- Strom. Does anyone know anymore about this. I see from the inlay
that Germ helped with the bass and stuff. The reason I bring it up is
it sounds to me like top notch idm, but it isnt on Rephlex :) You get
the same kind of tension between harsh abrasive and crunchy beats
that evolve and occaisionally become beautiful pulsating soundscapes
in the Autechre - Amber vein, but slightly cruder i suppose.
Also worthy of a mention is Monomorphs - Alternative Fluid (cheers
Ashok!) which i have only heard once but think will be a real fave. I
think this is Italian idm. Is Anibaldi Italian?? Not the same but
bloody good.
