I'm not really a big Advent fan at all, but Switch Craft's _The
Wave/Ventad_ 12" on Abstrakt Dance really impressed the hell outta me. The
mammoth, reverbed, Advent-y drum action is in full effect, of course, but
is augmented by sparse, moody synths on "The Wave" and a smooth, warm
chords on "Ventad." Solid, beautifully produced techno music from McBean
and Ferreira.
