Why Indeed?
I bought his Main Vein ep [WITCH 1] last year. Not because I knew who Witchman
was, but because of the jazzy Wagon Christ remix which I rather like.
All tracks are credited to John Roome. He makes frequent use of speech samples,
and it all sounds rather wavey, dubby and echo-y with added vinyl surface
noise, ticks and distortion and above all: it's sloooooow. It's okay I guess,
and has a familiar ring to it which I cannot place, but it's just not the kind
of music I'd go out of my way to try and find.
