I have this theory about the new Mike & Rich album. I won't review it as I'm
sure it's been reviewed to death in the three weeks I've been gone.
I believe that Mike & Rich must have spent 48 hours without sleep.
During this period they listened to the track "Monster in My Pants", by
Fred Schneider (B-52's) on infinite repeat. When the 48 hours were over,
they said, "Now, we are ready for lounge-funk."
Just a theory, but I do love the album. Not what I expected, but
enjoyable all the same.
BTW, has anybody heard the Mark Broom album on Pure Plastic? If it's as
good as what he dj's, I want it.
