first: can anyone shed some light on violet's "central pro nyc" (radio rhythm)? "burn the elastic" has been the only thing i have had the pleasure to hear by this apparent richard brown/chris duckenfield (rac) nom de pleur. this "new" one has been kicking around playlists for about four months now. my local merchants are baffled. they can't find this record, either. i don't believe it's distributed by watts. second: can i get an impressions on: spooky "point blank" compulsion's "juvenile scene detective" (a slew of remixes over four seperate 12 inchers including works altered by graham massey, howie b, scanner and static)(one little indian) local hero "airbag" (kid loops on filter) friends lovers and family "pressure" (lush) melting pot "something's wrong" (10 denk) carl stone "emit 1196" (emit, which means i'll buy it anyway...) blue "mexican church" (emissions, i would assume...) the kudos digest "c is for cherries" (kudos)(i only recognized two of the band names on this compilation: fretless azm and micheal newman) kirlian "who's got the flava" (disco b) the advent "new beginnings pt 1+2" bionic skank "compadre gringo" (pharma) third: what's the story with this surgeon kid? i realize that it's the way of the music press to keep the crank turning, but he was all the hype for about two weeks and now i can't find info on the surge anywhere. opinions? starting points? some pretty heavy fellas touted him playlist style... fourth: has anyone heard from being? his double cd on emissions was on point with layouts and polyrhythms in weirdass time. see above concerning press, being was called the future of scary ambience. anyone know of anymore plans? fifth: has anyone heard/seen the bios double seven inch? anyone know where i can get it? thanks for letting me tax your time on now: florence "dominions" ===================================== cameron bowden cameron@imagina.com blacksmith on the anvil in your ear _____________________________________
