The Sprawl Club is hosting a performance by Tim Goldsworthy of U.N.K.L.E. (Mo'wax) one of the remixers oj DJed, this thurs, details below. Apart from the recent Beck remix, U.N.K.L.E. have an album perpetualy imminent...recorded in LA, I'm told.

Saw Jon Tye give play a very hard but enjoyable Twisted Science set at the Scratch last weds, and he also collaborates with young Daniel as 2 Player. Daniel, now 18, has just finished taking his A levels, is also a prolific writer on The Idler, Wired, ID etc. He's just given The Sprawl Imprint label a man-sized trip hoppish track for the up-coming Broken Voice compilation....He was DJing at the Bluenote/Ninja Tunes night last thurs & we're planning to get him down the Sprawl very soon. Here's the rub: The 6th SPRAWL is happening on Thurs 27th June. We have a eclectic mix and sonic beats and drum n' bass trickery: presenting: IMMERSION - exclusive live DATs & releases from COLIN & MALKA NEWMAN of SWIM records. DAMIAN LAZERUS and TIM GOLDSWORTHY will be mixing it together. Damian is well known for his PM SCIENTIST club, and Tim also works with U.N.K.L.E./Mo'Wax records. RADIAL BLEND from the Suburbs Of Hell label will providing additional music earlier in the evening. It all happens at the Cafe Internet, 22/24 Buckingham Palace Road, Victoria (round the corner from Victoria tube), London SW1, from 7-11pm. Its £3.00, £2.50 concs. + 50p membership (gets you a free half hour on the Internet, £1.50 per half hour thereafter). Up coming in the next few months: FREEFORM (Warp Records), Osymyso (Hansom Records), Bit Tonic 9 BAR records, Daryll (Rough Trade), Rumpus Room DJs. d. benford
