Could it be Perrey & Kingsley. There is a track on the REsearch Incredibly Strange Music Volume 1 called Swan's Splashdown that is off of an album called The In Sound From Way Out! circa 1966. A sub title on the record says "Electronic Pop Music of the Future". It's messed up!
