Sorry to bother..but if anyone has time, I'd appreciate some
help:
I'm thinking that I want to start making music on my computer,
and I thought you all would be the best to ask about how to get started.
I have a 486, and a pretty good stereo(components)
I've heard about several programs,"studio" "band in a box"
"encore" "music time" "master trax pro" etc..
I guess you could say I'm fairy serious about this, I don't
want to go o out and buy stuff and then regret it later when I don't
have enough options..
On the other hand, I'm doing this mostly for myself.. I don't have
a DAT or intend to buy one...at least not for several years...
I need a keyboard yes? With general midi?
I'd appreciciate it if anyone who is knowledgeable about this stuff
could e-mail me, and let me know how(and what you use) to make idm.
I'm not directing this post to professionals...I just want to getet
started, and to know how/the best way..
