Hey Roman,
it is nice to finally hear someone who agrees with me. I would like to
think that I am an artist, but I am in the initial stages of making
music, shit I just got my analogue keyboard to MIDI, so I can finally
start the learning curve of sequencing software. So I would say "artist
to be." I do come from a musical background in that I played drums in a
rock band for years, but when I fell in love with IDM, that was it!
It is just very frustrating to go out and see the majority really doesn't
care about the artists, which is soo evident in my local area. Hence, my
frustration! Good luck in your musical adventures.
And yes, AMBIENT = BREAKDANCE= IDM, there is no simpler way to put it IMHO.
peace,
GIL
