Well, I'll post a more detailed review later on, but basically:
- hard to believe that after recording for 15 years this is his
first full-length solo record, isn't it?
- It's a very classy piece of work. It's got a very polished feel
to it, which puts off some people but hey, Atkins isn't a 20-year
old kid pumping out four-track tapes in his basement so I don't
think he should have to try to sound like one to be "street", do
you?
- _Deep Space_ continues the move towards jazzy timbres and structures
of the last few Model 500 EPs (Jazz is the Teacher, Sonic Sunset).
- It's very good.
