so tonight I went to Tower Northridge, just opened, ground zero duing
the jan.17 quake. When I entered I saw this girl with headphones
dancing up a storm at a listening station. Probably some grunge rock.
Where's the techno? .... walked permimeter of store. Ended up at
dancing girl. Wow! A techno listening station. Headphones passed to
girls friend??(mother??) who says - "its disco. no.. not exactly
disco (she starts dancing). I listen - buy "URB Mix - Doc Martin"
Hmm... thump-thump-thump... mandatory dance track. Put me into a
dance trance - yum. Some parts boring and beat gets grinding, but it
had me dancing all around my living room for a while.
And look whose in the mix...
