I'm not native, but I have visited their quite a bit in the past three
years. Check out the Haight Street area, as well as Berkley for record
shops. As for clubs- the best I found was a thing called Jazid Up- I
think Thursdays was the time to be there, though this could have changed.
Oh, also check out the action at Niki's BBQ! These are both acid
jazz/house- ish clubs, BTW...
