VERSUS ELECTRONICS moves to CLASE, new venue in Barcelona run by same people
of Gusto and Fat Products. This sunday nite an event featuring experimental
hip-hop, crunchy elecronics and bizarro rhythms with Machine Drum and Eedl
plus Fibla on decks.
MACHINE DRUM is Travis Steward, based in Miami and releasing on the acclaimed
MERCK imprint. His music is a party accentuated by mutant drum patterns, MCs
freed in the digital world to slip up and double back on their rhymes, and the
occasional body massage. Not to be missed.
Also that nite one of the few appearances of wonder Barcelona duo EEDL in
their own city. Eedl release on spa.RK and have had impresive live acts last
year on Sónar, Observatori, Standart and just a few days ago at by:Larm on
Norway. Crunchy electronics at its best, cut-up beats, digital error and
charming deconstruction. A must.
