No order FSOL-Lifeforms Underground Resistance-Acid Rain III One A.D.-Waveform Corp (I know some of this stuff has been released on Beyond, but some of the remixes are excellent. Also, Waveform should be given encourgement for making this music available in the U.S. As for the stuff I have heard most often in 94? Well, I've been living in Portland, OR for the past 4 yerz and most people hate electronic music here. It is very hard to find stuff and one must search. Fortunately, a DJ friend has a record service and gets a weekly shipment from WATTS . Bye the bye, what iz up with 808 State, i know their last album wuz a dud. I hope the boys will get back on track. Does anyone know were I can pick up the Japanese CD of Pacific/Cubik etc and/or Quadrastate. Is there a good mail order place in the U.S. for such stuff. Thanks in advance. Peace time...space...transmat@teleport.com bleep on!

A dud? Did you ever listen to "Time Bomb" or "Nimbus" loud? Or what about the heavenly "Europa" (I think that's the song's name...the one w/female vocals...)? It seems like whenever a new 808 album comes out, I just program my cd player to NOT play the pop-vocal songs, and I end up listening to a GREAT album!(same goes for EX-el, w/o the McCullough, Sumner, & Bjork songs...) I'm not trying to start a flame war, but i just think "dud" is a bit extreme... andrew
