The slow sound system explores the edge of chillout space: digitals, scapes, collage and ethnographic forgery. It's a space to rethink ambience, soundscaping and foreground / background listening, and the place to hear some of the best new music in these fields.

a friday night soundclash with our friends from coombe records. in the blue corner, Dual and cLOde from coombe, playing minimal tones, clipped beats and washed out beautiful textured noise, put through the Dual machines and re-sampled live. in the red corner, iMax and Crome Yellow from slow sound system playing heavy beats, bass and dsp detritus. images by iMax and GR. let battle commence ...
