Hey all i'm new to this list, and i've got a couple of questions. First off, is this the right place to get in touch with people and trade rare live recordings/videos, and if so, would anyone be interested? I am lookin for plaid, aphex twin, and/or autechre rarities. second, I'm thinking of buying a BOSS SP-505 Groove Sampling WorkstationBOSS for $495.95 (not including s&h) is this worth it? you can check it out at http://www.activemusician.com/store/search.asp?s=0&qu=sampler&c=DF916AAEAEA04912805F9EACE50AF387&ty=1 thanks Dustin --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!? More or less, sorta. Unfortunately, there really aren't a lot of good bootleg live works -- either the recording quality is poor, or they're just tracks you've heard live. Not to mention that they're usually less interesting than anything you'd hear off of a CD since the artists know the performance is more dance-oriented (usually) than listening oriented. But that's just my opinion on recordings of live shows. It's not like the artist spends time talking about anything about the show, tracks, or audience, unless they're Cex or something :)
