Hello all,
I'm currently in search of sound creation, tracking and recording programs
for the PC. My girlfriend is a very musically talented person and has been
asking me if I know where to get some copies of software.
For xmas I'm hoping that creating a CD of software programs would be a
thoughtful addition to what ever else I manage to think of.
Problem is that after scouring the internet for working links and programs
nearly every link I've hit has been a dead end.
Does anyone know where I can obtain trial/crack/warez versions for things
like SoundForge, Acid, etc.
Suggestions for other quality software products would be greatly appreciated
as well. For example what do the recording artists out there use
themselves... I've got the hardware to manage.
Thanks,

speaking of minotuars, i'm in a Brooklyn based band called
The Christian Science Minotuar
we do electro-acoustic dream sounds with warm electronic snail beats. we
play out periodically, but it's mainly a studio project. you can read about
us at the below link and get an mp3 5 minute edit from our ep that i'm
selling for $3 if you are interested (comes with free label compilation!).
i would love to hear peoples opinion. i find it very somber and lovely and
moving. what do you think?

if anyone wants to review it i'd be happy to send them a free copy...
