I thought the way Soriano took Curt Schilling deep to put the Yankees up 2-1 in the 8th was incredibly, heart-breakingly disappointing, much in the way Autechre's Confield followed up EP7. Further, Randy Johnson's 1 and 1/3 innings of relief was pure grit, much like v/vm dedication to pushing that envelope of sonic tolerance. But, wow, the bottom of the ninth, the colossal comeback, the defeat one of the greatest closers in the history of the game, it struck a deep chord in reminding me of DrukQs, which many feel to be the failure of one the cornerstones of IDM, or perhaps, if their fandom so sways them, maybe one of the finest comebacks in musical history. Who is to say, really? All I gotta say is, what a game of baseball. - wells oliver [wells@submute.net] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
