i still haven't really given "prototypes" a chance, i put it on for a few
minutes then turn it off and put on something else. i do think carsten has a
lot of talent, and i really enjoy the SIGNAL cd on raster.

the soundclips i heard of this i really liked. i want to hear the album, but
i'm afraid i'll be dissapointed like i was with the MRI.
The Perlon comp, as mentioned below, is pretty good, although it's not

you really should get a record player, you can pick up one for under $30 at
a garage sale, thrift store, or a place that renovates old stereo equipment.
as for the perlon comp, it's worth pointing out that the cd is mixed, which
i'm sure may annoy a lot of people. i haven't heard the Nikolai release,
though i'd like too. actually perlon stuff is kinda hard to get a hold of at
the moment.
How is the "Famous When Dead" compilation on Playhouse?
i've been meaning to get this for awhile, but just haven't gotten around to
it. anyway, i definitely recommend the albums by ISOLEE and LOSOUL. you can
check out soundclips of some playhouse stuff at
