"BTW, is their other stuff this good?" Yes! Among my favorite artists. Funky, playful, fair bit of real instruments, but still IDM, pretty much. That I have and would recommend, all full length: - Not For Threes - Rest Proof Clockwork - Trainer ... this isn't so rare now, having been compiled by Warp and issued as a double CD. Can also hunt down earlier "Black Dog" stuff, which Plaid were 2/3 of. In a similar vein, I nominate Fila Brazillia (any and all) to the Hall of Fame too :) And speaking of music in commercials, I know it's not IDM, and it's prolly just some jingle-house spew, but I do like the music in Cisco's latest ads; the one with sped up video re: internet training, and the cookie-store-website one. Nice thoughtful piano sequences. I.LIKE.MUSIC. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
