Hi, I'm new to this list. I love the broad range of topics and
opinions here. I listen to all kinds of music, including all kinds of
IDM. Here's a question for you:
I know there's a whole set of skills around creating all-electronic
music, but it's also not necessary to be a great musician in the
traditional sense. So, who are some artists in the IDM vein that are
great musicians?
Tom Jenkinson certainly is; awesome bass skills along with all his
mad programming. I suspect someone in Fila Brazillia is - but I don't
know. I find it hard to get to know much about people in this genre.
