actually, that's how I felt, and I would have said it to his face... In
fact, a good friend of mine once said something almost identical to my
face, and I appreciated his honesty... He was completely right. Once I got
over the ego shock, it allowed me to grow as an artist... I do people the
courtesy of being honest with them, rather than the discourtesy of being
polite... What's really sad, is that people's egos are so fragile they
can't take criticism, and that other people have been so brainwashed into
respecting politeness above honesty that they come to the defense of
aforementioned fragile ego types... We are all grown up here and don't need
to be coddled anymore...
