hey all,
having just downloaded the entire output from the revitalised kahvi, a most
_excellent_ net.label - wanted to recommend this to anyone who likes melodic
idm in the early-Warp/Defocus/Neo-Ouija/CCO stylee. the url is:
http://kahvi.stc.cx
..and there's now 13 mp3 releases up, including stuff from lackluster, esem,
and xhale, all of whom have previously released or are forthcoming on
defocus, plus lots of other excellent artists - vae, 4t thieves, kenny
beltrey, and epoq, for example.
highlights? kenny beltrey's 'hydrate' for electro-pop-ish melodics, prook's
"six" for delicate ambient melodies, and jean nine's "bubblemaster" for
interesting c64-style mashup antics :)
anyhow, with net.labels like this and the new taho (formerly mute) at
http://taho.xrs.net - with great new releases, the whole idea of online
output from decent, selective net.record.'labels' is starting to look a lot
better. would recommend people to go leech the lot, like, now :)
regards,
h0l.

ps - i confess some bias cos some of these people have released on monotonik
before, but heck, that's cos i like 'em!
