THE WIRE SESSIONS LIVE
The Wire in association with SBC are hosting a series of concerts on
London's South Bank
The first Wire Sessions Live takes place on Friday 13 October in the Queen
Elizabeth Hall. The concert ties in with the publication of The Wire's 200th
issue and features:
* MORTON SUBOTNICK: extremely rare performance from the legendary US
composer who composed the groundbreaking 1967 album Silver Apples Of The Moon
* MEGO ALL-STARS: FENNESZ, GENERAL MAGIC, PITA, SKOT (Tina Frank and
Matthias Gmachl (also of Farmers Manual)).
* RADIO BOY, an alias for the rogue UK electro-auteur Matt Herbert,
also known as Wishmountain, Dr Rockit and Herbert
Future Wire Sessions Live will feature the mind-bending electro-jazz of
Norway's Supersilent (16 November) and Adrian Sherwood + special
guests (15 December). The Wire Sessions Live will then continue in
2001.
