Yes, it is the same Markus Nikolai as on the Classic label. Yes it is, the Classic version features a Derrick Carter mix. His Classic label is more of a launching pad for these obscure quirky techno artists mainly on Playhouse and Perlon- just like for Isolee and Freaks. Markus Nikolai makes quirky electronic music very much in the classic Cologne style, Bushes was more a journey into melodic territory.
