I've not heard of Quench or the Eat This label
but the writeup sounds interesting. Anybody
heard of this release or artist?

Artist: QUENCH // Title : A Journey Into Electronix
Label: EAT THIS RECORDS
Format: CD-only // Cat. #: U-COVER 002CD
Quantity: LIMITED EDITION OF 555 FOR THE WORLD !!!
Release Date : 06 December 1999 !
A brilliant debut from the latest hidden pearl of the new
electronic scene. They prefer to stay unknown artists
but their music could fit right in labels like SCHEMATIC,
ISOPHLUX, CHOCOLATE INDUSTRIES and SKAM,
TOYTRONIC or even WARP.
QUENCH gives a U.S. answer to acts like APHEX TWIN,
SQUAREPUSHER, AUTECHRE, GIMMICK, FUNKSTÖRUNG ...
but still deliver their own interpretation of electro, dub,
ambient, breakbeat and new electronix, all mixed in a unique
style and highly skilled which makes this album a major
potential for the near future.
Thru the super highway of the Internet, the Dutch electro-
act FUNCKARMA came in contact with one of the members
of QUENCH : result is a strong remix of "Magleb". QUENCH
from their side invited their friends and lofi-electronix act
LLIPS (NYC) to a collaboration on the last track. The
New York friends of LLIPS will soon release their debut on
their own INC. label and give on this album their preview.
