I've seen it. They screened it in Chicago this summer at the Underground Film
Festival.
I was actually quite impressed by it, especially considering that Cleopatra
Records put it together, and if you've seen any of their artwork you wouldn't
expect a very tasteful production.
While Modulations was more an overview of electronic music (with some glaring
omissions), BLTC focused in on rave culture and did a really good job of it.
i'm not a raver and never have been so i suppose i wouldn't really know if it
was all that accurate, but it seemed to convey the feeling associated with
rave culture that so many ravers say can't be fully explained, only
experienced. it focused in on electric skychurch, genesis p-orridge (who
desperately needs a makeover!), kraftwerk... there are others but i'm
starting to get modulations and BLTC mixed up in my head a bit so i'll
refrain from describing any more. equal parts interviews and music interludes.
anyway, i hope it gets distributed more widely because it's quite good.
