One more option, if your favorite sound program doesn't have the option to write to WAV you can use TotalRecorder. Anything that goes through the windows sound system can be recorded to a WAV file. It's pretty cool, and useful for say, recording a RealAudio file to a WAV - especially if you can't download the RA file. The only problem is, the shareware version is limited to 30 seconds, you have to register for $10 for the full version. And no, I have no affiliation with TotalRecorder, I just think it's a cool program. =) - Bobby

I just went through the motions of downloading and installing this progam. I opened up a Real Audio file (locally) and hit play. I went over to the Total Recorder program hit record and waited to see what would happen. Pretty sweet - It records audio played to .wav. There are various options and settings and it's pretty configurable. All in all I'd say it's a pretty cool program - just what the doctor ordered. Thanks for the recommendation!
