Hello, Walt from Mindfield/FAQT here.? I've been lax in getting the word out on this so let me make up for it right here. The CD will be titled:? "Ricci's Pieces"?? We're working on the packaging right now.? Read that title again and the first packaging idea that pops in your head will probably be similar to what we're doing. Here are the artists that made it onto the comp in audio form: V/VM Tranquil Burning Rome Cex Electric Company David Kristian Puppy Precenphix Lesser Mourning Cloak TM & The Schoolgirlz Oxbow Cathars KK Null Kid 606 there are also 5 bonus MP3 tracks by: Qwerty Colingib Fingernail Persona Marumari Note:? Richard Devine is not on the comp. Thanks to everyone who sent in tracks or helped out in other ways.? Special thanks to Mark Kolmar for a fine mastering job. Sorry to those who had to be left off due to space requirements.?? We're hoping to get this on the streets in mid to late August.?? The comp will be packaged inside of FAQT magazine and will have a bargain price of $6.95 in the US.? Please look for it in stores.? Tower Records will carry this as well as select indies like See Hear and Qvimbies.? As far as the Ricci portion of the magazine, we didnt exactly get the interview with Ms. Ricci - but we tried damn hard, to the chagrin of her publicists.? There *will* be a Ricci interview (confused yet?) though, plus interviews with Mike Paradinas, Holger Czukay, Add N To X, St Ettiene, Cibo Matto, Nobukazu Takemura, Unit, Joey Beltram, 2 Lone Swordsmen, and a Rephlex label profile.?
