Does anyone have any word on this artist? According to CMJ MAR 2000, Steve Beckett and Rob Mitchell at WARP have commissioned him to record a full-length album, now nearing completion. Apparently, Mr. Coleman "fortells an album that packs a trunk-of-funk with a radically experimental edge." And he takes influences from Miami bass and Meat Beat Manifesto. Sounds interesting. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Yes Richard Devine, who sometimes records as Richard Coleman Devine, is often discussed on this list because of his releases on Schematic and his remixes of East Flatbush Project, Chris Deluca (½ of Funkstorung), Phoenecia, and Aphex Twin. His forthcoming album on Warp has been mentioned here before and is eagerly anicipated by more than a few list members. Here is a brief Richard Devine discography: Releases: .
