For those of you in Toronto and area: The record/CD sale I had at my house last weekend barely made a dent in the stack of stuff I was looking to unload. So I've started carting the stuff off in chunks to a couple of used shops, and I thought I'd give y'all some warning of where it's all gonna end up. First of all, the CDs (200 or so, most of them IDM/techno/d'n'b in nature) are going to Neurotica, a great little shop on Queen St. a block or so west of Bathurst. I dropped the first batch there yesterday (mainly compilations) and will be bringing another stack by today, and probably the rest of them tomorrow or Monday. I'll probably be holding a couple of items for sale/acution on the list in the future, but there's still some good stuff in the piles, including a few discs from the Cologne crew released via Home Entertainment/Liquid Sky in NYC. Expect it to end up in either the "Experimental" section or the "Dance" section. Next to go will be the recent IDM/etc. vinyl which I'll be bringing to Rotate This on Queen, also just west of Bathurst. I'm not sure how much of it they'll take, but I'll be bringing it down a bit at a time between now and Christmas. Labels represented in the pile include Clear, Fused & Bruised, Chrome, Possible, Lo Fibre, etc. Anything that Rotate passes on may end up at Neurotica. Finally, I'll be unloading a bunch of 80s vinyl at Neurotica. Quite a mixture of stuff, from industrial dance to weird rock to crappy new wave. Probably not much of interest to folks on this list, but I just thought I'd mention it. Greg
