its news to me, but stumbled into mixology in santa rosa today and much to my surprise found rephlex, isophlux, m_nus, ninjas and alot more. if you've ever been to santa rosa, you'd understand my surprise :) almost all vinyl, lots of good stuff, lots of used stuff also... picked up::: theorem th1 & th2 12"s cristian vogel 'syncopate to generate' 12" orbital 'lush' 12" orbital 'satan' 12" the history of the jams (timelords) 12" (for $3) LFO vs fuse one-sided 12" timelords 'doctorin' the tradis' 12" thought i was picking up a used copy of the fatcat release live human... grabbed it on the way up to the counter and didn't check it and figures, there was a different record in there :( haven't given it a listen yet... dobie 'basement rocks' (pussyfoot records... i'm scared of it!) anyways, no idea if anyone on the list is stuck in sonoma county, but figured i might post about it just in case there was and they weren't aware (maybe dying for a bit of instant gratification but don't want to trek to the city :) just check your 12" make sure they are what they are! also, find yourself terribly amused by the staff who say things like '$30 for a record... imagine that???? one record, $30...' appearently *they* aren't part of the idm list. also there was a copy of the skampler, if anyone wanted it but couldn't find. would be willing to snag it for them (need to go back and yell about my fatcat...!) brap@sonic.net icq_12645306 http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ coming sooner than later: sfwd0004 - pre-mil·len·ni·um soundscapes 12" our future has never been so frightening: http://williamshatner.com/
